El video musical fue elegido por Billboard como el líder del conteo "Scariest music video ever made", bajando a «Thriller» de Michael Jackson en el segundo puesto. También recibió una nominación en los premios Video Music Awards 1996, como Mejor video de rock, sin embargo la perdió.

Desde su lanzamiento el sencillo ha aparecido en distintos medios, entre ellos los soundtracks de los filmes Trick 'r Treat, Gamer, House on Haunted Hill, Bajo la sal y The Smartest Guys in the Room, también en el recopilatorio Lest We Forget: The Best Of (2004) y siendo interpretada en vivo en el cd The Last Tour on Earth (1999).
